We know how important it is to you that every detail of your Wedding day is perfect. That is why we will provide a home consultation service to discuss your requirements in detail.

What's included in the Price

Prices include fully iced and decorated cakes, with sugar flowers or chosen edible decoration. Non-edible cake decorations such as top tier bride and groom, and cake separators are not included. You may provide this decoration if you choose, and we will be pleased to fix it to your cake.

How to Order

12 weeks notice is usually required when placing an order. Please allow 16 weeks notice if sugar flowers are required.

Making Payment

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required when ordering if the wedding date is less than six months in advance at the time of ordering, otherwise a 20% deposit will suffice. The balance must be paid two weeks prior to delivery or collection of the cake.

Types of Cake

Our fruit cakes are made from the finest ingredients including cherries, sultanas and currants, which are soaked in brandy rum or sherry, whichever is your preference. Ground almonds are also used, but may be omitted if preferred. Please note that marzipan also contains almonds, and is not suitable for nut allergy sufferers.
If preferred plain or chocolate sponge may be provided instead of fruit. The number of sponge cakes used may be restricted by your chosen design, as sponge cakes do not provide as strong a base as fruit cakes. Our sponge cakes are layered with ganache or buttercream, and will only keep for approximately one week. Fruit cakes obviously keep for much longer.

Delivery or Collection

It is usual for the cake to be delivered and set up at the venue for a fee of £30.00 within a five mile radium, and £35.00 within a ten mile radius. You may collect the cake if you wish, however with wedding cakes this is not always advisable depending on the design.

Cake Stands

Cake base stands and tiered stands are available for hire on request. A spray of sugar flowers can be made to attach to the cake knife if desired, for an additional charge.
